I have had an unwavering passion for dogs for over 20 years, I consider it more than a career, but a passion. My journey began at a young age, working with my family dogs in obedience and showmanship competitions. This experience sparked my love for canine behavior and led me to realize this is the path I was meant to follow.

My first job at a large boarding facility that cared for over 400 dogs gave me invaluable experience in the industry. It also allowed me to learn what works and what doesn’t, which ultimately inspired me to create Ellensburg Pet Lodge. I wanted to build a facility that offered a cozy, welcoming atmosphere for dogs of all types.

One of my unique strengths is my ability to work with dogs that others might find challenging. I am especially skilled at handling dogs that are nervous, cautions or reactive toward new people. I have a calm and patient approach that helps them feel comfortable and secure.

I understand how difficult it can be to leave your dog in someone else’s care, which is why I make it a priority to communicate with owners and keep them informed on how their dog is doing. If I ever feel that our setup isn't the right fit for a dog, I am completely honest with the owner. At Ellensburg Pet Lodge, I take pride in offering a safe and loving environment where every dog feels at home.
